I do believe that racism is still an issue today. People still get called names every day just because they're a different color. I think all people should be treated equally. Yes, we're all different, but that doesn't mean that we should be treated different

I think that the Supreme Court Justices should serve for life because they are obviously really good at what they do. Do I think American people should vote for the Justices? I dont know, because the president is doing a good job selecting them, so why interrupt something thats already fine. So I guess you could say taht we should leave it to those who have experience is how it needs to be

Which Judicial Philsophy do you agree with- judicial restraint or judicial activism?

¨Judicial restraint- believe that judges should decide cases on the basis of (1) original intent of the Framers or those who enacted the statue(s) involved in a case, and (2) precedent- a judicial decision that serves as a guide for settling later cases of a similar nature.

¨Judicial activism- Argue that provisions in the Constitution and in statue law should be interpreted and applied in the light of ongoing changes in conditioning and values- especially in cases involving civil rights and social welfare issues.
rights and social welfare issues.
