He was an American politician who served in the United States Congress as a Representative from Massachusetts. He was born September 23, 1756 and he died September 17, 1831. He was born in Swansea, Massachusetts. He studied medicine and began his medical practice in Waldoboro, Maine. A member of the Massachusetts state house of representatives, he served as a state representative in 1809, 1811, 1812 and in 1819.

I think that the Supreme Court Justices should serve for life because they are obviously really good at what they do. Do I think American people should vote for the Justices? I dont know, because the president is doing a good job selecting them, so why interrupt something thats already fine. I agree with Judicial Activism
¨Judicial restraint- believe that judges should decide cases on the basis of (1) original intent of the Framers or those who enacted the statue(s) involved in a case, and (2) precedent- a judicial decision that serves as a guide for settling later cases of a similar nature.
¨Judicial activism- Argue that provisions in the Constitution and in statue law should be interpreted and applied in the light of ongoing changes in conditioning and values- especially in cases involving civil rights and social welfare issues.

first floor- Courtroom friezes- There are four symbolic freizes that ring the upper part of the Supreme Court Chamber The Great Hall is the ceremonial space leading up to the entrance of the Supreme Court Chamber. Used for memorial services for deceased Justices, it is adorned with busts of past Chief Justices as well as artwork symbolic of the law.

- for us the raise money for we can have fundraisers sell things that people would like buy or asking our citizens for money to chip in for the war
